The Fairfax County Public Schools-commissioned report says witness accounts behind the accusations were misinterpreted or fabricated, and notes multiple government agencies are still reviewing the matter independently.
   

• Western High School could be name of Fairfax County's new western high school (ffxnow.com) — Families in the Centreville High School pyramid could soon opt into a new “Western High School” opening in the 2026-27 school year at the former King Abdullah Academy near Herndon. Up to 500 rising eighth and 500 rising 10th graders from Centreville and nearby pyramids may enroll by lottery, with permanent boundary changes phased in starting in 2027-28.
   

• CREW requests records from State Department, DHS and Coast Guard regarding emoluments (citizensforethics.org) — A Coast Guard store in Centreville is reportedly selling alcoholic beverages from Trump Winery and Trump Cidery, part of a broader pattern of federal agencies doing business with Trump-owned companies. A watchdog group is seeking records from several federal departments to determine whether these arrangements, including a planned G20 summit at a Trump resort, violate constitutional limits on presidential financial benefits.
