Video: Scores of Centreville Residents Volunteer to Clean Up Area

Residents pitch in to clean up Potomac River watershed and plant produce at local parks and schools.

On Saturday, April 9th, Centreville residents turned out in huge numbers at schools, parks and sites throughout the area to help with clean-up efforts. Volunteers participated in the  and gardening at a number of local schools.

Patch visited , where organizers had planned an all-day effort, but had virtually finished by 1 p.m. to a massive turnout, and Ellanor C. Lawrence Park, where volunteers from and from around the community participated in the cleanup.
