Soles for Hope 5K Run, Walk is Saturday in Chantilly

It's not too late to be a part of the annual Soles for Hope 5K Run/Walk in Chantilly on Saturday. 
Race organizers are accepting registrations from 6:30 to 7:45 a.m. on the day of the race in the main lobby of Grace Covenant Church on Brookfield Corporate Drive, according to the website, solesforhope.org.

The race begins at 8 a.m. at Grace Covenant and follows a double loop course on Brookfield and Daly Drives. The race is followed by a 1K fun run and other activities. 

 Race proceeds will benefit Every Child Fed, a nonprofit purposed to provide care, food and nutrition to severely malnourished children. 

The races are followed by a free health expo from 9:30 a.m. to noon at 4600 Brookfield Corporate Dr. in Chantilly.  

Events and exhibitors include free health screenings, fitness demonstrations, youth activities and a police cruiser display for children. 

Those already registered for the race can pick up their packets on Friday from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. or Saturday from 6:30 to 7:45 a.m. at Grace Covenant.  Church.
