'Stuff the Bus' to Benefit Local Families in Need
Donations will benefit Western Fairfax Christian Ministries.
Can Centreville-area shoppers fill an entire bus full of food for local families in need?
(WFCM) hopes they will. On Saturday, Feb. 4th, a bus will be stationed outside of the Giant grocery store in the Union Mill Colonnade, so that shoppers and others can easily donate nonperishable foods. Volunteers will hand out a list of items that the pantry particularly needs.

This is the second year the food drive has been held to benefit WFCM's food pantry, which serves about 300 families a month in Centreville, Chantilly, Fairfax Station and Fair Oaks. In 2011, the group collected 3257 pounds of food from Stuff the Bus, said Annette Bosley, volunteer manager for WFCM.
The bus will be parked outside the store, at 5740 Union Mill Road, from 9:20 a.m. to 4:30 a.m. For more information, see the attached pdf file or YouTube video from Fairfax County.
