'Tire Slasher' Linked to Multiple Incidents, Cops Say

A Chantilly woman arrested earlier this month for slashing tires has been linked to multiple incidents of the same nature in the local area, according to Fairfax County police. 

On Feb. 9, police arrested Dawn Stanley, 51, on misdemeanor charges. Stanley allegedly slashed tires on Placid Lake Court, the same street where she lives. She confessed to the crime, and over the next week, police added another five charges to the mix.

She now faces a total of ten charges of intentionally damaging property. But the investigation isn't over yet—police say that there may be more charges on the way, pending a complete investigation.
