Trust Spends $96 Million on Centreville Apartments

Home Properties, Inc. buys Woodway at Trinity Centre apartment complex.

A real estate investment trust has bought the apartment complex for $96 million in cash, and expects to sink another $3.9 million into renovations. 

Home Properties, Inc. purchased the space on May 17, the company announced in a press release this week. The monthly rents average $1,377, according to the company, and there are over 500 apartments at Woodway. 

Home Properties also owns a number of other properties in the metro area, including a complex they purchased in Leesburg on May 11 for $16.2 million.
