Virginia Lacrosse: Westfield Moves on in Northern Region Playoffs
Westfield girls will play Langley in the regional semifinals Wednesday.
The Westfield High School girls lacrosse will move on in Northern Region playoffs after a 15-11 victory Thursday over Stone Bridge.

Junior Molly O'Sullivan had six goals and two assists, while junior Meghan Heick scored four goals and two assists, according to the Washington Post's allmetsports.com. Junior Grace Horgan also had a strong performance, scoring three goals and one assist.

The Bulldogs will now move on to the regional semifinals. On Wednesday at 7 p.m., Westfield will play a home game against Langley, which on Thursday defeated Woodson 16-8.
The victory on Thursday continued a winning streak that was broken just once this season, with a 13-20 loss to St. Anne's Belfield, in the April 6 Warrior Invitational. Westfield is now 17-1 for the season.
