Assistance League Grateful for NOVA Community College Student's Help

Student Shares Time and Talent To Support Children's Programs

Assistance League of Northern Virginia is very grateful to Chelsea Christina for her help with its clothing drive. Chelsea is an exchange student at Northern Virginia Community College studying American nonprofit organizations. For the past few months, she has used her background in public relations and media to help Assistance League by designing flyers for its media posts. After reading about the recent wish lists, which requested donations for the nonprofit’s New Clothing for Kids program, she decided to use the college’s Spring Fling event in mid-April to collect clothing items. She and her fellow students collected three bags of clothes. Assistance League applauds Chelsea’s generous spirit and initiative and wishes her great success when she returns home next month.

If you would like to make a donation from the April wish list, which features short-sleeve T-shirts for elementary school students, use this link: https://tiny.alnv.org/wish-short-sleeves. You can also make donations from other wish lists for clothing, books, and hygiene items.
