Dulles Day Festival and Plane Pull Pictures and Video

Check out the fun this weekend at Dulles Day Plane Pull and Family Festival at Washington Dulles International Airport.

On September 19th, Washington Dulles International Airport hosted the Dulles Day Plane Pull and Family Festival, which included activities through out the day for families. The event, which will donate funds to Special Olympics Virginia, was free and open to the public from 10:30 a.m. until 4 p.m.

This year’s plane pull doubled the fun this year with the addition of a second plane to pull. The planes were parked side-by-side and more than 70 pre-registered teams competed to be the fastest at pulling a full-size 12 feet jet aircraft in the shortest time.

Activities include music, food, entertainment, vintage aircrafts on display, a classic car show, airfield tours aboard the Dulles Mobile Lounges, and much more. Watch a video of one team pulling a Fed-ex plane below.
