Fairfax Connector Bus Fares to Increase

Fees for using the Fairfax Connector will go up on July 1.

Riders will pay 10-cents more to ride, whether they use SmarTrip card or pay cash. The base fare for SmarTrip users will increase from $1.50 to $1.60, and the cash fare will increase from $1.70 to $1.80.

The fee for senior riders will also increase 5-cents to 80-cents for SmarTrip and 90-cents for cash.

Express route fares will also change:

• The fare for express Route 395 will increase to $5.35 for those who pay by SmarTrip card or cash.
• The fare for express routes 595 and 597 will increase to $7.50 for those who pay by SmarTrip card or cash.
