Free Coffee For Chantilly School Teachers From Wawa In September

CHANTILLY, VA — Wawa is holding a month-long “Cheers to Classrooms” celebration from Thursday, Sept. 1 to Friday, Sept. 30 at its locations in Chantilly and across Virginia.

The celebration will recognize teachers and school administration who educate, guide and inspire children across Northern Virginia.

During September, Wawa will be providing a free hot coffee of any size to all teachers and school administrators. At the cash register, faculty need to simply let the Wawa employee know they work at a school to receive the offer.

Wawa locations participating in the September "Cheers to Classrooms" celebration include the following ones in Fairfax County:

• 3450 Historic Sully Way, Chantilly, VA 20151
• 465 Maple Ave W, Vienna, VA 22180
• 9700 Fairfax Blvd, Fairfax, VA 22031

Also, through a partnership with Donor’s Choose, an online resource for teachers to submit funding requests for school supplies and support, Wawa has designated a $50,000 chainwide matching fund to support schools.

Teachers can submit a project at www.donorschoose.org, and those schools that meet Wawa’s funding criteria could receive matching funds.

“Wawa is excited to bring back its Cheers to Classrooms initiative to put a smile on the faces of teachers and administration that work so hard to do the same for children in our community,” Dave Simonetti, senior director of store operations at Wawa, said in a statement.

“Our associates are also looking forward to visiting local schools throughout the month to welcome teachers back into the classroom and show our appreciation for everything they do,” he said.
