HGTV Films at Integrity Homes' Potomac Overlook
The community voted on their favorite model home design for the new series, "Showhouse Showdown."
HGTV filmed an episode for "Showhouse Showdown" in National Harbor, MD, last Saturday at Integrity Homes' Potomac Overlook.
Two local designers, Darlene Molnar and Patrick Baglino, Jr., were given a week to design five rooms in one home with equal budgets.
The first 150 people to register at the event were given the opportunity to tour the separate model homes and vote on their favorite design.

The host of the show, Bob Guiney, said he loves open house days and interracting with the community. "It's interesting to see how people respond to professionals," said Guiney.
Dawn Stroupe, executive producer, said that she fell in love with Potomac Overlook, and it is the only show location with an urban setting.

"It truly is a special place," said Stroupe. "From the terraces, you can see the Washington Monument."
Guiney added that DC was his favorite city to visit so far because he was able to see the monuments and memorials.
"We had a great time filming," said Guiney. "Integrity Homes has been kind and they did a great job."
