Home Energy Assistance Applications Open October 8
Need help with heating bills? Now is the time to apply for financial assistance.

Virginia residents may apply for financial assistance with their energy bills for the 2013 - 14 heating season through Virginia's Energy Assistance program.
Eligible consumers should submit an application at their local Department of Social Services office from Oct. 8 through Nov. 8, 2013. A list of offices is online.
Dominion Virginia Power offers financial assistance programs, including EnergyShare. "The program is available for eligible families throughout Dominon's service area, even if they are serviced by another power provider," Bob Fulton of Virginia Dominion Power said.
