Letter to the Editor: Chantilly Business Owner Thinks Greece Should Default
A local business owner shares his opinion on the Greek economy and its impact on the rest of the world.

A few weeks ago, Jim Rogers told CNBC that "a Greece bankruptcy would actually be a good thing." I agree.
Greece needs to go ahead and default so the banks and the EU can write down the losses and let the rest of the world get on with business. These triple digit losses in the DOW are wearing us down. Let Greece choke on their socialist practices and maybe it will open some eyes as to what unchecked entitlements does for you!
Greece is killing the financial markets, and it is a nothing country. Fourteen states have a higher GDP than Greece. Do you think if Washington State (#14) defaulted on its loans that the worlds financial markets would be in turmoil? If they would just go ahead and default, I think markets would be relieved.
