Man Fatally Shot In Chantilly: Police
A Manassas resident shot and killed a man early Friday in Chantilly, according to Fairfax County Police.

CHANTILLY, VA—A Manassas resident shot and killed a man early Friday in the 14500 block of Lee Jackson Memorial Highway, according to Fairfax County Police. Steven A. Green, 51, was charged with murder, malicious wounding and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Two other people were hospitialized with non-gunshot wounds not considered life threatenening.
When police arrived shortly after 1:30 a.m., they found a man in the parking lot who had been shot. He was taken to an area hospital and pronounced dead. His identity has not been released. Green stayed at the scene until police arrived, and a firearm was recovered when he was arrested.
Police are investigating the events that led to the shooting, and the body has been taken to the Cheif Medical Examiner's office for an autopsy. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-246-7800.
