• Ready to see the Blue Angels in 2026? Get to know the new team members (pnj.com) — One of the Blue Angels’ 2026 demonstration pilots, Marine Maj. Scott Laux, grew up in Chantilly and graduated from Chantilly High School before heading to the U.S. Naval Academy. The team’s new-season lineup highlights his path from local student to highly decorated aviator with more than 1,300 flight hours and 169 carrier landings.
   

• ICE raids in Hybla Valley condemned at candlelight vigil (ffxnow.com) — Recent ICE arrests across Fairfax County included at least one in Chantilly and drew protests over conditions at an ICE administrative office there, where detainees from a federal D.C. operation were reportedly held. Advocates and some local officials say the stepped-up enforcement and alleged treatment are disrupting immigrant families, while county leaders are directing residents to legal aid resources.
