St. Timothy Catholic Church Bans Girl Scout Troops

The girls are banned due to a supposed relationship with Planned Parenthood.

 

NBC Washington is reporting that and have banned several girl scout troops from meeting or wearing girl scout uniforms on their property.

The Arlington Diocese stated that the pastor believes that the National Girl Scouts have an affiliation with Planned Parenthood, and its message does not align with that of the church.

According to NBC Washington, the Girl Scout Council of the Nation's Capital said its parent organization is "Girl Scouts of the USA, which does not have a relationship with Planned Parenthood."

Regardless, the council will ensure that the troops in Chantilly will have a place to meet.
