St. Timothy Students Demonstrate Learning Methods

5th grade teacher Julie Yanchulis volunteered her students to show the teachers at the Making Algebra Child’s Play workshop how quickly and easily the Hands-On Equation teaching method is for students. 

The group worked through numerous equations of increasing ability levels to show how this program can aid in understanding algebraic concepts.  In appreciation for her students' participation, the host of the workshop, Borenson and Associates, gave Yanchulis a class set of the program with enough manipulatives to instruct 30 students.
