Suspects Sought in Chantilly ATM Armed Robbery

The male suspect pulled a firearm near Pemberton Square on Jan. 12, Loudoun County Sheriff's Office reports.

An unidentified man committed an armed robbery at an ATM in the Chantilly area, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.

A man went to an ATM in the 25300 block of Elk Lick Road in Pemberton Square around 9:10 p.m. Monday, Jan. 12.

As he was walking back to his vehicle the suspect approached, pulled a firearm, and demanded cash, LCSO reports. The suspect allegedly went to the man’s car, took money from woman inside, and fled on foot.

A witness reports seeing a male suspect get into the passenger side of a small black four-door car and leave the scene.

The suspect is described as 6’1” weighing 180 pounds. He wore a dark colored hoodie, khaki pants, and black gloves.

A cash reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and indictment.
