Traffic Alert for Loudoun County

LCSO Advises Residents of Possible Traffic Delays During Weekend Events

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is advising residents of weekend events that may cause traffic delays in various areas of the county:

  • A 5k race will take place in the Lansdowne area on September 25th and may impact traffic on Woodbridge Parkway, Deerfield Avenue and Lansdowne Boulevard between 4:30PM and 7:30PM.
  • An event in Ashburn Village on September 25th may impact traffic on Ashburn Village Boulevard in the area of Ashburn Sports Pavilion between 6PM and 10PM.
  • A half-marathon in the Lucketts area on September 26th may impact traffic on St. Clair Lane, Lost Corner Road, Lucketts Road, Evans Pond Road, Spinks Ferry Road and Chapel Lane between 4:30AM and noon.
  • An event in Ashburn Village on September 26th may impact traffic on Ashburn Village Boulevard in the area of Ashburn Sports Pavilion between 10AM and 11PM.
  • An event in Lovettsville on September 26th may impact traffic on E. Broad Way, S. Church Street, S. Loudoun Street, and Pennsylvania Avenue between 10AM and midnight. .
  • An event at the ADAMS Center may impact traffic on Sugarland Road from 11AM to 6PM on September 26th.
  • An event on September 27th that will utilize the Washington and Old Dominion Trail may impact intersections of Sterling Boulevard, Ruritan Circle, and Smith Switch Road between 6:30AM and 9:30AM.
  • An event in Ashburn Village on September 27th may impact traffic on Ashburn Village Boulevard in the area of Ashburn Sports Pavilion between 11AM and 5PM.
  • An event at Rock Ridge High School in Ashburn may impact traffic on Loudoun Reserve Drive between 4PM and 8PM on September 27th.
