• Crime Solvers seek tips after alleged Chester car burglars caught on camera using stolen credit cards at Wawa (wtvr.com) — Multiple vehicles were broken into along Moores Lake Road in Chester on October 6, and suspects later used stolen credit cards at the Wawa on Route 1 in town. Crime Solvers is asking residents to review the surveillance images and share any tips anonymously by phone, text, or the P3 app to help identify those involved.
   

• Sloan officially named new OC at Kentucky (on3.com subscription) — A Chester native is stepping into a major college football role, as Joe Sloan has been officially named offensive coordinator at the University of Kentucky after four years at LSU. Sloan, a Thomas Dale High School standout, is credited with helping develop Heisman winner Jayden Daniels and is expected to boost Kentucky’s offense and Southern recruiting.
