After Prince William and Kate Middleton tie the knot on Friday morning, the church ceremony will be followed by breakfast at Buckingham Palace and an exclusive dinner later that night.

Wait, what? You didn't receive a royal invitation? Don't feel slighted. We didn't either. Even the Obama's were left out.

But in case you want to celebrate in style stateside,   has a few suggestions to make your viewing party as authentically British as possible. • Yorkshire Gold Tea: According to the company's website, "Yorkshire Gold is a blend of tea from the world's finest gardens." And, really, what's a British party without some tea? Forgo your coffee on Friday morning and raise a cup of Yorkshire Gold instead.
  • McVities Biscuits: Avid wedding enthusiasts will already know that McVities has been asked to make a cake of its famous chocolate biscuits for the official wedding reception. These were apparently one of William's favorite childhood treats.
  • Branston Pickles: Pickles for breakfast? It may sound a little strange on this side of the pond, but Classic Cigars & British Goodies insists that they are a perfect accompaniment with cream crackers (what?) and oat cakes and can be served with tea. According to the company's website, Branston Pickles are the U.K.'s most popular sweet pickle.
  • Lyle's Golden Syrup: Online, this condiment company claims the iconic syrup "hasn't changed in 127 years and is still made the same way it was all those years ago." It can be drizzled on cakes and other sweet desserts and can be served with tea. Imagine that!
  • Walker's Crisps: These crisps - we call them potato chips in the U.S. - come in a variety of seemingly odd flavors like prawn cocktail, roast chicken and Worcestershire sauce.

All of these items and others - including marmalade, baked beans, which can be served over toast, and even salmon and crab spreads, are available for purchase at Classic Cigars & British Goodies, located at 2907 Wilson Blvd. in Arlington.

Pass the tea, please.
