Firefighters Battle Blaze Near Clarendon on Sunday Evening

ARLnow.com reported that the first signs of smoke from a house near the intersection of N. Ivy Street at 10th Street were called in at 6:45 p.m.

A three-story house caught fire near the intersection of N. Ivy Street and 10th Street on Sunday evening, ARLnow.com reported on Sunday.

The home contained three apartment units. Ten residents have been displaced, but none were injured, the article states.

Lt. Gregg Karl, a spokesman for the Arlington Fire Department, told Patch the cause of the fire was still under investigation Monday morning.

It usually takes a few days to conduct all the interviews with residents to help determine how the fire started, he said.
