FroZenYo in Rosslyn Opens Wednesday

With a projected high temperature close to 90 degrees, Wednesday will be the perfect grand opening day for Rosslyn’s FroZenYo.

FroZenYo is opening its fourth Northern Virginia location in Rosslyn at 1735 N. Lynn St.

FroZenYo is a chain of self-serve frozen yogurt shops founded in Washington, D.C. The first store was opened in Friendship Heights in 2009.

Other locations include 850 N. Randolph Street in the Ballston area and 2231 Crystal Drive in Crystal City. FroZenYo has about 10 other locations in the Washington metro area with more coming. The chain also plans to expand to the Boston area.

The store features a wide variety of frozen yogurt flavors in addition to dry and wet toppings. 

The frozen yogurt shop will take over the space formerly occupied by convenience store News & Necessities.

The chain was a Readers' Pick for Best Frozen Yogurt by Washingtonian Magazine in 2011.
