Mother's Day Brunch in Arlington

For many people, taking dear old Mom to brunch on Mother’s Day is a family tradition. (Mother's Day 2013 is on Sunday, May 12, so you still have plenty of time to make reservations and pick up flowers.)

Here, we’re rounding up in the best brunch spots in Clarendon, Courthouse and Rosslyn. (Check Arlington Patch later this week for the best brunch spots in other neighborhoods!) These recommendations are based on reviews from Patch readers and recommendations from other sites.

Lyon Hall, at 3100 Washington Boulevard, got one of our 2012 Patch Readers’ Choice awards for best brunch in the area. Patch readers raved about the menu and even noted a “great playlist” in the background. See Lyon Hall’s brunch menu here.

Liberty Tavern came in a close second in our Readers’ Choice awards. Liberty Tavern is at 3195 Wilson Blvd. in Clarendon and offers a variety of pastries, brunch pizza and more. See the brunch menu here.

Whitlow’s on Wilson, 2854 Wilson Blvd., offers a wide variety of brunch favorites and features a special brunch kids’ menu, too. See Whitlow’s brunch menu here.

Bayou Bakery at 1515 N. Courthouse Road offers a variety of Southern favorites, including beignets, grits and biscuit sandwiches (and several healthier options, too). See the Bayou Bakery breakfast and brunch menu here.

Over in Ballston, The Front Page also won a 2012 Readers’ Choice Award from Patch readers for having an exceptional brunch menu. (It’s all-you-can-eat, too, so go hungry.)

Also in the Ballston area, Mike’s Café has gotten favorable reviews from Yelp! Users.
