Pinkberry Will Bring Its 'Swirly Goodness' to Arlington
The frozen yogurt company has announced on its website that it will soon open a store in Clarendon.
According to its website, Pinkberry will soon open a frozen yogurt shop in Arlington at 1220 North Fillmore St.
The Los Angeles-based company is credited with starting the tangy frozen yogurt craze in 2005. It serves a variety of unusual frozen yogurt flavors like lychee and mango and offers toppings ranging from fresh fruit to mochi - a type of chewy Japanese rice candy that resembles marshmallows.

The company has dozens of stores scattered in major metropolitan areas across the country, although only one store - located in Fairfax Corner in Fairfax County - currently exists in the Washington region.
Editor's Note: The article has been corrected to reflect the following: The only Pinkberry in the region is located in Fairfax Corner, not the Fair Oaks Shopping Center, as previously reported.
