Rosslyn BID Wants Residents, Visitors To Work And Play Outside
Rosslyn Business Improvement District is hosting a variety of events and activities to encourage people to enjoy Rosslyn's outdoor spaces.

ROSSLYN, VA — With the arrival of spring, the Rosslyn Business Improvement District (BID) has decided that it's time for everyone to step outside and enjoy the warm weather.
On Sunday, Rosslyn BID kicked off Rosslyn Refresh, an effort inviting residents, employees, and visitors to safely enjoy outdoor activities as part of a staycation. This means visiting public parks — including Rosslyn's new dog park — weekend flower markets, and the district's outdoor office, O2, in Gateway Park.
Here are some of the activities the Rosslyn BID is encouraging people to enjoy:

- The Rosslyn Staycation and contest highlights how visitors to spend a two-day, one-night staycation in Rosslyn. Activities include a date night, pampering, art walks, and plenty of vitamin D. Follow the BID Instagram (@rosslynva) to register to win a staycation package or daily raffle prizes.
- O2 Outdoor Office: The outdoor space at Gateway Park, 1300 Lee Highway, will be open Tuesday-Thursday, April 13-30, from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m., and Tuesday-Friday, May 14-June 30, from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Register in advance to reserve a 90-minute workstation, or walk in if space is available.
- Rosslyn Bootcamp is a four-week outdoor exercise series at Gateway Park, on Tuesdays and Thursday, from 5:30-6:30 p.m., beginning April 20.
- Rosslyn Flower Market: April 24, May 1, and May 8, at Central Place Plaza, 1800 N Lynn St. Rosslyn BID is hosting a series of in-person and virtual events with local vendors.
- FreshFarm Farmers Market: On Wednesdays, from 3-7 p.m., starting May 5, visitors to Central Place Plaza will be able to purchase fresh produce at a weekly market.
To ensure the health and safety of all participants, all Rosslyn Refresh events and activities will be frequently sanitized. Guests must follow Virginia’s and Arlington County’s guidelines and wear masks and practice physical distancing.
