Here are the top three stories in Dale City:
- The Dale City Library was closed from Feb. 22-24 due to drainage problems, which caused erosion and the buildup of mulch. Crews worked to fix the issue by cleaning out the drain box, removing the existing curb and sidewalk, and digging a drain ditch. The renovations cost $22,685, and the library reopened to the public fully on Feb. 24. (PotomacLocal.com)
- Inisfail, Inc., an incorporated nonprofit organization, planned its 23rd annual Greater Manassas St. Patrick's Day Parade. The event took place over the weekend on Mar. 11 after being canceled for two years due to snow and the COVID-19 pandemic. Patrick Sullivan, the organizer, explained during a Feb. 27 Manassas City Council meeting that the parade has been a tradition for 25 years in the city. You can see photos from the event here.
