4 Displaced After House Fire In Dale City Leads To Minor Injuries For 2 People
A home caught fire on Omni Court in Dale City on Tuesday evening, displacing four residents and causing minor injuries for two adults.

DALE CITY, VA — A house caught fire on Omni Court in Dale City on Tuesday evening, according to the Prince William County Department of Fire and Rescue. During the blaze, two adults suffered minor injuries; they were treated on scene and did not need to be taken to a hospital.
When fire crews arrived on the scene in the 13000 block of Omni Court, fire was already visibly emitting from the home. The occupants of the home told authorities that they attempted to use a garden hose to extinguish the fire that was rapidly spreading from their enclosed deck.
The house sustained "extensive damage," from the blaze, the fire department said in their report.

The Red Cross was on the scene to assist the three adults and one child who were displaced by the fire. The fire marshal's office is still working to determine what could have started the fire.
"The occupants of this house fire were fortunate to discover the fire before smoke entered the structure," the department of fire and rescue said. "However, the home’s smoke detectors did eventually activate."
