Ice Cream Truck Robbed At Gunpoint In Dale City: Police
A man with a gun robbed an ice cream truck in the Birchdale neighborhood of Dale City on Wednesday evening, police said.

DALE CITY, VA — A man robbed an ice cream truck at gun point in Dale City on Wednesday, according to a report from the Prince William County Police Department. Authorities said the robber took cash, credit cards, and personal ID.
The robbery occurred around 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday near Berkshire Drive and Benton Street in Dale City. The owner of the ice cream truck said he was parked in the area before the robbery.
An unknown man approached the truck's counter, pulled out a gun, and demanded the owner's property, police said. The victim complied and the robber ran away from the area, according to authorities.

The truck owner drove away from the area before telling an acquaintance what happened. They then contacted the police department.
A police K-9 searched the area on Wednesday, but they did not find the suspect. Authorities said nobody was injured in the robbery, but the suspect took a belly band with cash, credit cards, and personal identification.

Authorities described the suspect as a Black man in his 30s. He had curly black hair, brown eyes, and tattoos on his arms and neck. He is about 5 feet, 6 inches tall with a medium build.
At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a baseball cap, a white t-shirt, shorts, and carrying a plaid black/white backpack.
