Man Shot After Pulling Gun Near White House: Secret Service
The Secret Service has confirmed a man carrying a gun was shot when he approached a guard post near the White House grounds on Friday afternoon. The incident was at 17th and E St. NW.

"Secret Service Uniformed Division Officers gave numerous verbal commands for the subject to stop and drop the firearm," according to a Secret Service statement released to media.
