600-Pound, 11-Foot Shark Hanging Out in Virginia Waters

A 608-pound, 11.4-foot Tiger shark named Crystal is hanging out in the waters off the Virginia coast Friday, according to OCEARCH, a group that tracks and studies sharks.

The shark, named Crystal for Crystal Pier at Wrightsville Beach in North Carolina, where she was fitted with a radio transponder last month, was located in the area or "pinged" Friday morning at 7:08 a.m. >>> Read more.

Drivers Playing Pokemon Go in the Middle of the Road: Police

Two drivers were cited for erratic driving while playing "Pokemon Go" in the past 24 hours in Vienna, police said Friday.

Police stopped a driver Thursday night at 9:55 p.m., who they said was driving erratically. The driver told the officer he and others in the car were playing Pokemon Go.

A few hours later, early Friday at 2:41 a.m., an officer observed another vehicle, this time stopped in the middle of the road. The occupants of the car told the officer they were playing Pokemon Go. >>> Read more.
