“All the world’s a stage” when Pied Piper Theatre opens its summer theatre camps from June 29-July 10 at Grace Baptist Church in Woodbridge. Footlights and Fairy Tales introduces young actors ages 5-7 to basic performing skills through movement, music and imagination. With class each day running from 9-11:30am, family and friends will enjoy a final performance on the last day of this two week storybook adventure. Theatre Express!, for ages 8-12 provides a musical theatre day camp from 9am-3:30pm filled with music, dance, acting, improvisation, stage make-up and much more. Professional guest artists and teachers are featured in the morning with a musical theatre production workshop in the afternoon. Students participate in all elements of the production which will be performed on the final day of camp.
The Center for the Arts’ Pied Piper Theatre also offer camps throughout the summer in Gainesville and Manassas and additional camp opportunities including Disney Princesses, Knights & Dragons; Superheroes, Pirates, Villains, and More; Whodunit Mystery Theatre; Shakespeare; and Stage Management workshops.
