Police Hunt Two Men in Dale City Armed Robbery
Police say the robbery does not appear to be a random act.
Two men armed with shotguns forced their way into a home on Haversack Lane in Dale City Wednesday morning and took money, a handgun and other items before making their getaway, Prince William County Police said.
Police are on the hunt for two black males after the armed robbery home invasion occurred at the 13500 block of Haversack Lane in Dale City Wednesday morning.
Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said that the victims, two adult males, reported that the attackers forced their way into their residence after ringing the doorbell. During the incident, officials reported on the police channel that one of their weapons was a sawed-off shotgun with a light-colored wooden pump.

The two men then took money, an additional firearm—a Ruger 9mm, according to police channel broadcasts—and one victim's cell phone and wallet before fleeing the scene in an older model light red SUV. There was a report of a possible third male driving the SUV.
Perok said that no one was injured but that an investigation continues as the robbery does not appear to be random.

Police are searching for the men who were described as six-feet-tall, thin to medium build. The first male appeared to be between 20 and 30-years-old, clean-shaven with sideburns and wearing a dark hooded shirt. The second male was wearing a mask.
Police blocked the only entrance to Haversack, off of the Prince William Parkway, Wednesday morning while they searched for clues, including looking for tire tracks on the dirt road.
A resident of Hoffman Drive, next to Haversack, said he had noticed suspicious activity in the area, including heavy traffic late at night and early in the morning.
