Bagel + Pickle Pop-Up Coming to Del Ray
During The Dairy Godmother's annual winter hiatus, Bagel Uprising and No. 1 Sons will take over the space.
ALEXANDRIA, VA -- Each year, The Dairy Godmother takes an annual winter hiatus, closing up shop for a break. This year, the space will be taken over by "Salt|Bagel," a pop-up enterprise from Bagel Uprising and No. 1 Sons, opening Friday, Jan. 20 at 8 a.m. to sell bagels and pickles, Chad Breckenridge said Thursday.
On the menu for six weeks in the space: Bagels, cream cheeses, pickles, kimchi, kombucha and more. Bagel Uprising's Chad Breckinridge is an FCC staffer on weekdays and a bagel baker on weekends. Bagel Uprising and No. 1 Sons met up at the Four Mile Run market on Sundays. Bagel Uprising launched there in September 2015.
Salt|Bagel will be open daily from 8 a.m. until they sell out each day.
