Hosts of 'The Chew' Discuss Del Ray's Looming Adult-Only Sushi Spot

The hosts of ABC's “The Chew” briefly discussed the concept of Del Ray’s adult-only sushi restaurant during Tuesday’s episode of the food-themed talk show.
Del Ray Patch first reported on plans for the restaurant in the 2300 block of Mount Vernon Avenue last week.

“Mango” Mike Anderson and his partners are currently installing furnishings and meeting regularly with a sushi consultant in preparing to open an 18-and-over sushi bar that will be advertised by a single, yet-to-be-determined Japanese character above the door.
The hosts of the talk show—Clinton Kelly, Carla Hall, Daphne Oz, Mario Batali and Michael Symon—discuss the adult-only concept near the four-minute mark of the video posted above.

Hall is familiar with Del Ray. The D.C. resident and two-time contestant on Bravo’s “Top Chef” served as celebrity judge at the 2011 Taste of Del Ray.
