Police Investigate Armed Robbery on Commonwealth Avenue
No injuries were reported in armed robbery that took place Sunday night in Alexandria, police said.
ALEXANDRIA, VA -- Alexandria Police are investigating an armed robbery Sunday night in the City.
Police said the incident took place near Commonwealth Avenue and East Maple Street (see map below).
Three suspects were involved in the robbery and at least one brandished a firearm, police said. Police said the three suspects robbed the victim but did not say what was taken. Police did not give a description of the suspects.

No one was injured during the robbery, according to police.

Police did not say what time the incident took place, but posted information on social media at about 10 p.m. Sunday.
