Some road work is coming up next week for the George Washington Memorial Parkway that could impact your commute. Here's a look at what's coming up, according to the National Park Service:

  • George Washington Memorial Parkway/Arlington Memorial Bridge: Tuesday, Jan. 3 to Friday, Jan. 6 expect right lane closures on the Arlington Memorial Bridge for inlet repairs. Two lanes will be open at all times in each direction on those days from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

  • Glebe Road Bridge: On Wednesday, Jan. 4, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. expect single lane closures on both northbound and southbound GWMP at the Glebe Road guardrail repair. Work is weather dependent and alternate date is Thursday, January 5. One lane will be opened to traffic at all times.
