Third Annual 'Well Ray' Coming Up Saturday in Alexandria

ALEXANDRIA, VA -- Get ready to explore living healthy this weekend at "Well Ray 2016," a healthy lifestyle fair organized courtesy of local businesses including Mind the Mat Pilates & Yoga.

The event takes place starting Saturday morning in the open field between Bean Creative and Kiskadee, at Mount Vernon Avenue and E. Del Ray Avenue in Del Ray. Health and lifestyle-inspired businesses will be set up in tents welcoming participants to find out more about healthy living. Some of the services featured will including therapeutic massages, acupuncture, physical therapy consultations, chiropractic adjustments, nutritional counseling, blood pressure screenings, and more. You can also check out wellness-inspired fashion from local fitness clothing designers, jewelers, and boutiques.

Participants will have the opportunity to win prizes and take part in free classes; be sure to bring a mat and be prepared to move. Free classes will be offered in yoga, Pilates and dance inside and outside all afternoon, led by Mind the Mat’s team of instructors.
