Toyota Prius Recall: What You Need To Know

Alexandria Toyota Prius owners may be affected by a recall of the popular hybrid vehicle.

The 2010 model of the Prius, as well as the Lexus HS 250h, is being recalled because of faulty brakes, the auto manufacturer announced Wednesday.

Vibration may cause a crack on a brake pressure accumulator in the car, according to a press release. Toyota officials said in the release they have not received any reports of injuries related to the brake issue that led to the recall.

Toyota will mail notifications to owners of models relevant to the recall. Dealers will replace the brake booster pump assembly for no charge, according to the release.
