• Fairfax County considers lowering speed limits to 20 mph in some neighborhoods (fox5dc.com) — Speed limits on neighborhood streets in Dranesville could drop from 25 to 20 mph under a Fairfax County pilot now being considered. Residents in Dranesville and three other districts can fill out surveys through December 19, with a pilot starting next summer and results reviewed in early 2027.
