• Woodbridge Restaurant Inspections: Encrusted Dirt Buildup In Numerous Places (patch.com) — Health inspectors recently checked a long list of Woodbridge and eastern Prince William County restaurants, including BBBoba House in Triangle Shopping Plaza in Dumfries, which passed its pre-opening inspection with no violations. Other nearby eateries were cited for issues like poor handwashing access, missing thermometers, food stored on floors, and heavy dirt buildup, which may matter if you frequent these spots. 
• Spanberger appoints Del. Candi King secretary of the commonwealth (insidenova.com) — A Dumfries resident, Del. Candi Mundon King, has been tapped by Gov.-elect Abigail Spanberger to become Virginia’s next secretary of the commonwealth, giving the town a direct connection to a top state office. King, who lives in Dumfries and represents parts of Prince William and Stafford, will oversee constituent services, appointments, clemency, and more when Spanberger takes office.
• Road Rage Incident Leads to Arrest in Woodbridge (potomaclocal.com) — Prince William County police reported several recent incidents in nearby Woodbridge, including a road rage case where a driver allegedly tried to ram another vehicle before being stopped near Dumfries Road. Officers also investigated a strong-arm robbery at a Minnieville Road 7-Eleven, shots fired on Lynhurst Drive, attempted burglaries in Manassas and Bristow, and hateful graffiti at Andrew Leitch Park.
