The new tank would move within the apartment complex, add a pedestrian link to Upton Hill Regional Park, and is intended to improve water reliability for Fairfax County, Falls Church, and Arlington customers.

2. DEVELOPING: Driver killed, others injured in multi-vehicle crash on Richmond Highway (ffxnow.com) — A deadly multi-vehicle crash shut down northbound Richmond Highway in Groveton this morning, with one driver killed and at least two others seriously injured, Fairfax County Police say. 4. City Dwellers Face Unequal Heat Exposure En Route to the Metro (eos.org) — Researchers at George Mason University in Fairfax, Va., are mapping how hot it gets for people walking to major metro stations, including the Washington Metro, and who bears the brunt of that heat. Their work shows that Black, Asian, Hispanic, and elderly riders, plus some northern Virginia park-and-ride users, face higher exposure, and aims to guide where local planners add trees and shade near transit.

5.
