Fairfax Station Man Acting Erratically Faces Multiple Charges: Report

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — A 23-year-old Fairfax Station man is facing multiple charges, including assault on a law enforcement officer, in connection with an incident that occurred Oct. 23 in Fairfax City.

Officers with the City of Fairfax Police Department responded around 7:38 p.m. for the report of a person acting erratically in the 10700 Block of Viognier Terrace. After a brief investigation, the officers determined that 23-year-old George Novak III of Fairfax Station was under the influence of alcohol, according to police.

As Novak was being arrested, he assaulted one of the officers, according to CFPD. No injuries were reported.

Police took Novak to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, where he is being held without bond. He faces charges of being drunk in public, obstruction of justice, and assault on a law enforcement officer, according to police.
