FAIRFAX CITY, VA — Fairfax One, the Fairfax County Police Department's helicopter, landed in Providence Park to transport an injured person to the hospital around 12:30 p.m., according to a City of Fairfax alert.

The patient was injured while doing construction work near the 10600 block of West Drive.

There was no information available about the patient's status or what the circumstances were that led to the injury.
