Indecent Exposure Incident at Library in Fairfax City: Police
Also in most recent crime report, an IRS scam and stolen street signs, police say.

FAIRFAX CITY, VA -- A man was observed earlier this week exposing himself at the City of Fairfax Regional LIbrary, and has done so on numerous occasions, library staff tell police.
Police say that the most recent incident took place Tuesday evening at about 6:41 p.m., when a staff member reported the incident at the library, located at 10360 North St.
The suspect left the area before police arrived. He is described as a tall, young black male with a goatee and short hair, wearing a blue hat, blue hoodie and blue basketball shorts. The Patrol Division is investigating the case.

Attempted Fraud 16-04482: 10100 Block of Blue Coat Lane – On March 21 at 3:10 PM the resident reported that she had received several telephone calls from subjects claiming to represent the Internal Revenue Service demanding that she make arrangements to pay the money she owed. Before doing so, the resident contacted police to confirm that the calls were an attempted scam.

Larceny from Vehicle 16-04542: 3200 Block of Adams Court – On March 22 at 8:56 AM the vehicle owner reported that sometime after 11:00 PM on March 21 unknown person(s) had entered his unlocked parked vehicle, scattered the contents of the glove box about, and stolen the contents of a change holder.
Larceny 16-04553: Oakwood Drive / Chestnut Street – On March 22 at 11:47 AM an officer on patrol observed that unknown person(s) had taken the street signs at the intersection.
