Johnson, Scibilia Receive Electoral Board Certificates

Fairfax City commissioner of revenue and treasurer received their certifications from the Electoral board on Tuesday.

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — On Tuesday morning, two of the City of Fairfax's constitutional officers — Commissioner of the Revenue Page Johnson and Treasurer Tom Scibilia — received their election certificates from the Electoral Board. Both men ran unopposed in the Nov. 5 general election.

Serving his sixth term as the commissioner of the revenue, Johnson is the city's chief assessing officer and is chairman of the Northern Virginia Cigarette Tax Board. He is not only a member of the the Historic Fairfax City, Inc. board, he edits the organization's newsletter — the Fare Facs Gazette.

A fifth generation native of Fairfax, Johnson attended Fairfax High School and received a B.S. in finance degree from George Mason University.

Scibilia has been the city's treasurer since January 2014. He has also been president of Parts Unlimited Inc. for nearly 34 years.

A Fairfax High alum, Scibilia received a BBA in accounting from the University of Mississippi, where he was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity and a member of the marching band, as well as being a Beta Alpha Psi Accounting Honorary and manger of the Kappa Sigma House.
