Special Election Candidates To Speak At Flint Hill Forum

Miller Heights Neighborhood Association is hosting a candidate forum and legislative update with State Sen. Saddam Salim (D-Fairfax).

OAKTON, VA — On Wednesday, the Miller Heights Neighborhood Association is hosting candidate forum with Democrat Gretchen Bulova and Republican Adam J. Wise, who are running in the Jan. 13 special election to be the 11th District representative in the Virginia House of Delegates.

State Sen. Saddam Salim (D-Fairfax) will also provide a preview of the upcoming session of the Virginia General Assembly, which begins on Jan. 14.

The MHNA forum will take place Wednesday, Jan. 7, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., at Flint Hill School Peterson Middle School at 10900 Oakton Road in Oakton. Attendees must enter the building via westbound Oakton Road.

Early in-person voting for the Jan. 13 special election in the 11th Delegate District got underway on Saturday, Jan. 3 and will continue until Saturday, Jan. 10 at the following locations:

  • Jim Scott Community Center, 3001 Vaden Drive, Fairfax 22031; Hours are Monday-Friday, 1 to 7 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day.
