Wine Shoplifted, Drive-Thru Window Vandalized: Fairfax City Crime Report

Here's a look at the most recent crime in the City, from the crime bulletin released Monday by the Fairfax City Police Department:

  • Shoplifting Arrest 16-04328: 10390 Willard Way / Courthouse Plaza- On March 18 at 8:31 AM an employee of the Safeway store reported to an officer on patrol that a male subject had attempted to leave the store without paying for a bottle of wine concealed in his jacket and had surrendered the wine when confronted. The suspect was located in the area and taken into custody. Michael Key, 31, of no fixed address, was transported to the Adult Detention Center where he was charged with larceny third or subsequent offense and ordered held without bond.
  • Burglary Attempt 16-04359: 10090 Fairfax Boulevard / CVS Pharmacy – On March 18 at 4:56 PM an employee reported that sometime during the previous night unknown person(s) had attempted to gain entry to the pharmacy area by trying to force open the pharmacy drive-through window.
  • Vandalism 16-04445: 10875 Main Street / Premier Marketing Solutions – On March 20 at 7:30 PM am employee reported that sometime after 10:00 AM unknown person(s) had damaged the door frame at one of the entrances to the business.
