Woodson to Celebrate Golden Anniversary Today

The recently renovated school has been around for 50 years.

 

Woodson High School will continue the celebration of its 50th anniversary year with a plaque dedication ceremony and open house today, Saturday, April 13, from 1 to 3 p.m.

The event is open to all members of the Woodson community, including past, present, and future students, and staff members.

The event will include speeches by Woodson students about their memories from each of the school’s five decades. Woodson’s alumni chorus will provide live entertainment.

Guests will be invited to tour the recently renovated school, pick up a souvenir item—including a DVD retrospective—and catch up with friends and fellow alumni.
